With a long career in the ad biz Dennis knows Chicago Advertising. After graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design, he began working in Chicago with Jack O’Grady Studios. He worked as an illustrator early on before making the move to the agency side. He spent a majority of that time with J. Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett as an Art Director/Creative Director/ VP. It was while working with JWT that Dennis met Steve Edsey and they have been friends every since. At the turn of the millennium Steve offered Dennis the opportunity to become a fulltime member of the team. He jumped at the chance to get back to his illustration roots. The enjoyment of problem solving and telling stories through art, make everyday an exciting endeavor. Every since graduation from college Dennis has taken sabbaticals, painting his way from coastal Maine to his beloved Grand Tetons and Grand Canyon. Two or three times a year he’s off searching for the quintessential American landscape to paint. But he always loves getting back to Illustration.
